Am I weird?

Hi everyone. Well, I have these interests, well nothing specific. I always go online to research stuff. I go on the schools computers and print print print! :-) My teachers got so mad, they want to kill me for it (Oh well, my taxes pay for their supplies anyway.). What I like to print out is information. Like, information about mental illnesses, biographies, scientific studies etc. But people are saying that my interests are weird,

I have some fascination to:

Child Ritual Abuse
Mind Control- I saw those on TV, and it facisnates me quite a lot. and they are actually real!
Feral Children
Personality disorders
Symptoms of Epidemics, such as West Nile or HIV,
Sadistic Abuse

Are these weird interests? People look at the papers coming out of the printer and call me a weirdo. If it's weird I'll stop. I just can't help myself. Everytime I see a school printer, I just print information. I don't have many friends because of my interests.

I also have interest in telekinesis. And I wanted to show the other kids that it's real!

but i am personaly facinated with natural disaters but i have friends so it balances things out.

Of course you are not weird! in fact, it sounds like you will make a great doctor some day. remember, being curious about something just means that you want to know more a bout a subject. and if someone calls you weird for that then shame on them!!

i think you would be a cool friend!! always telling me facts about those interesting subjects!! tell your teachers to shut up because you're learning and that's what you're there for. hahah

Yea, we live in the digital age. You should be able to gather info without making a library. LOL. Buy a USB data storage device or get an email account.

If you have tremendous interest in these subjects why don't you seek a career in psychology or something else in this field. Sounds like you are inquisitive and interested. I don't actually think you are weird, maybe just wanting to see what makes some of these people and things evolve. If someone wasn't interested in these subjects there would be no new information on them. Not everyone is interested in the same things. Only people with small narrow minds would wish to stop your interest. I say, go for it. The more you know the better informed you are. Goodluck.

What is weird is that you want to print everything on hard copy (paper). Save the link so you can research it later, or if you are afraid the link will disappear then "print" it to a .pdf file.

There is a disorder for people who hoard newspapers, clippings, and printouts. You may have it.

God created us all in the way He imagined us to be. If you enjoy those things, it is because He made you like that. No one is truly weird, but if you are worried about not having friends, you may want to keep your interests slightly on the down-low. NO one should be able to keep you from the things you enjoy.

There are some morbid and disturbing items in your list. That alone does not make you weird. I would ask you to question yourself very seriously and make sure that you don't have any interest in these things to either:
1) Learn "how" to hurt some one (in which case you need to have your parents make a psychological appointment for you immediately) or
2) You're doing it to push people away but at the same time, you're seeking attention.

If neither of the above are true, then I think you have a great career path in front of you! :)

Well if those are your ONLY interests then... yeh, you are weird. You need to open your mind to things you come across. It's good to have interests but, those being the only ones you have is kind of unhealthy.

Being interested in things is no crime and just because people think you are weird is no reason to stop your natural curiosity.
Limit your research to home or the library if you feel pressured at school.
Your taxes don't pay for the school stuff, if you are still at school you don't pay tax.
The school budget isn't great and things like ink and paper are expensive and usually only ordered once or twice a year so if you are using a load of it then that is why they're annoyed.
