AIDS and urine - risk infection? Help? |
This has been brought up before, but I am alarmed. I've had no sexual contact with another person other than my girlfriend, on Dec. 27 I was at a public toilet, I had to pee, some other guy used the toilet right before me, I tried to flush but it didn't work. I used it anyway, and I splashed my hand and I think my penis as well. Perhaps I should mention that I'm not circumcised. On January 6th and 9th I had some unexplained fever, I had insomnia and I couldn't regulate my corporal temperature: at night it was cold, but if I covered myself, I would start to sweat. After being in a hospital for 2 days, the doctors couldn't find anything wrong with me, but the same day I was released, my head (just my head) began to sweat without explanation. This went on for aprox. half an hour and has not ocurred since. I was diagnosed with anxiety too, which could explain the sweat, but I would like to know if I'm in danger. Help, could all this be the symptoms of the initial exposure to the HIV? I've got your diagnosis your a hypochondriac. Your symptoms are most likely all psychosomatic. Which is probably why you were diagnosed with anxiety. See a shrink. If you are that concerned about HIV exposure, visit your doctor and be tested now, in 3 mo, and 6 mo. It sounds as though you are just really worked up about about the thought of exposure and are "making yourself" sick. Talk to your doctor if you are this concerned. There was no blood contact. You're ok, it is all in your head. |
