Any Doctors and Health Experts? I Have a Serious Question!?

These are serious questions. I hope there are doctors or health experts who can help answer them:

Today, I ate a Big Mac that I bought from McDonalds. Afterwards, I noticed a light red stain on the edge of the box. Also, there was this same stain on my right hand. It didn't look like ketchup to me because it wasn't thick and gooey. So I decided to forget about it and washed my hands thoroughly and cleanly as possible...

An hour later, I masturbated with a thin sock. Afterwards, I realized that I used my right hand, which was the same one that had the stain.

So my serious questions are:
- What's the possibility that it was definitely blood?
- What's the probability that it's infected with HIV or AIDS?
- What are the symptoms of HIV and AIDS?
- Can HIV and AIDS get inside my body through my penis during masturbation?
- Do you Any other helpful advices?

Also, please tell me if you are a doctor or a health expert. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions!

The cardboard box that the 'light red stain' was on should have absorbed the moisture from blood, if it was in fact blood to begin with. If you washed your hands thoroughly, then the blood would have been taken off and no stain would have remained on your hand. There is a low probability that the blood (if there was any) was infected with HIV or AIDS. Symptoms of HIV and AIDS show up very late in its stages. Unless you have enough blood infected with AIDS or other body fluids on your hand and it enters your urethra, then you won't get AIDS. Do not worry, you do not have AIDS or HIV, but if you continue to be paranoid, your enjoyment of life will decrease substantially.

Well I am not a Doctor. I am a Licensed practical nurse. I am going to med school in the spring. If you feel more comfortable with a doctor, I respect that, but I think I can field this.

1. I can not tell you wether that was blood or not. I did not see it. I doubt it but maybe.

2. Very Very Low. There are apox 430 thousand people with AIDs in the US and with a population of 300+ Million.

3. Here is the NIHs page on AIDS and symptoms
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/...

4. Most likely not. But I suppose it could happen.

Lets look at the situation. It may or may not of been blood. It is almost statistically not going to be infected with AIDS. Then you WASHED your hands throughrly.

Your fine. Get a test if you need peace of mind. But I think you are over reacting.
