How much is chance of get infected with hiv while having oral sex with hiv positive only one time

after exposure in how many days patient got symptoms

Contrary to popular belief, oral sex is not a completely safe alternative to vaginal or anal sex. Chlamydia, human papillomavirus (HPV), gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis (multiple strains), and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) 鈥?including HIV 鈥?can be transmitted through oral sex.[14]. However transmission of HIV through fellatio or cunnilingus is relatively rare. Any kind of direct contact with body fluids of a person infected with HIV (the virus that causes AIDS) should be avoided. In 2005, a research study at the College of Malm枚 in Sweden suggested that performing unprotected oral sex on a person infected with HPV might increase the risk of oral cancer .[15] The risk from most of these types of infection, however, is generally considered far lower than that associated with vaginal or anal sex.

Furthermore, oral sex should be avoided when either partner has wounds or open sores on the genitals or mouth, or bleeding gums in the mouth, or has recently brushed, flossed, undergone dental work, or eaten crunchy foods such as potato chips, all of which can cause small scratches in the lining of the mouth. These wounds, even when they are microscopic, increase the chances of contracting STDs that can be transmitted orally under these conditions. Such contact can also lead to more mundane infections from common bacteria and viruses found in, around and secreted from the genital regions. Because of this, many medical professionals advise the use of condoms in the performance of fellatio (flavoured condoms are available for this purpose) and the use of plastic or latex sheets (dental dams or ordinary plastic wrap) for cunnilingus, although the latter has failed to achieve the same level of widespread use as condoms.

From what I know, HIV is not transmitted via saliva contact. But for oral sex ... hope someone can give you an answer. May God bless and protect you.

get tested asap...Good luck and God Bless

You can still get HIV from someone giving you oral especially if they had a cut in their mouth and if something came out of the cut and went into your penis hole you are f*cked

i dont if you are stupid, simple or slow, give that clit/dick a lick then you might as well jump into a sharp pointed flaming stake.

Last I knew, there was a 10 year "window" after HIV exposure. This means that any time for up to 10 years you could test negative and at any time in that period you can test positive. During the time you test negative, if you are indeed now a carrier (but wont get sick) you can give the DZ to anyone that you come into contact with sexually. On the flip side you might be OK all the way around, or not, and hell, who's chance are you going to take?Because if you don't tell the next person, you are TAKING THEIR CHANCE, to say yes or no to you. Be honest.Like DUH, when the passion is hot and steamy you're really going to stop to say, Oh, you been exposed and might be a carrier. UH HUH.Tell a person when the interest first starts after you meet them. You have a responsibility now and should take it seriously.

It only takes one time. Get checked asap. Nothing like having that in the back of your mind wondering if you have it or not. Did you know this person had HIV before you had sex? Well, I will pray for you that you are okay. Next time, be safe, no chances, your life is more deserving over a moment of thrill!!
