Does the symptoms come at once or one by one Hello People, this isn't for me its for a friend who had a bad experience in hospital, and i am still trying to calm her down. I read somewhere that they don't come one ant a time and it is related to anxiety, but i need more info...thank you very much It depends some people say like flu, diarrhea etc comes at once and it hppenes severe.....p24 test work within 3 weeks adter that antibody test takes over. I think that the symptoms come in stages.... and then progress in AIDS r u hiv positve wait 3-6 months after you have had sex and get tested dude... u got teh aids You're talking about the HIV virus that causes AIDS right? ummmmm,......you may want to call one of the hospitals in your area and ask them. Better safe than sorry. The earliest symptoms of HIV infection occur while your body begins to form antibodies to the virus (known as seroconversion) between six weeks and three months after infection with the HIV virus. Those who do show early HIV symptoms will develop flu-like symptoms. This can include: fever, rash, muscles aches and swollen lymph nods and glands. However, for most people, the first symptoms of HIV will not be apparent. As the infection progresses, people with HIV grow increasingly susceptible to illnesses and infection that don鈥檛 normally affect the healthy population. Even though many of these illnesses can easily be treated, those with HIV often have such weakened immune systems that typical cures fail. I found with me being HIV positive, there was a sign. It was a cold a flu type sickness I felt that was so bad i never felt it before. I later learned this is called the Seroconversion. This is where your body has detected the hiv virus within you and started making antibodies to fight it. After a few days of not feeling well, I was back to normal not knowing anything. As the disease progresses and your immune system weakens, you may start noticing what they call lesions. This is characteristic of Kaposi's sarcoma. They will look purple in nature. Also there maybe signs of herpes zoster (shingles), herpes simplex, and molluscum contagiosum-were so common that they sometimes were regarded as informal markers of immune deficiency. If they have any of these symptoms i recommend they see a infectious disease specialist doctor immediately or even go to a emergency room for immediate treatment, as most of the above symptoms are not only signs of being HIV positive, but of having full blown AIDS. Best of luck to your friend and i send my blessings. TO GET A PROPER ANSWER, CALL THE AID HOT LINE. HOE ALL WILL BE ALRIGHT. PLEASE GET THE CORRECT ANSWERS SO YOU BOTH CAN REST A LITTLE EASIER. |
