I think i am hearing voices in my head? am i going mad? |
I have a Obsessive-Compulsive-Disorder and i have had it ever sice i was 13 years of age. I am 16 now and nerly every week or so, i think that i have something that i dont have. like last week i thought i had HIV symptoms and all it was, was a cold. So about last week when i went to my bed, And like i always do, i start to worrie about all sorts of things. The first thing that came to my mind was, have i got (Schizophrenia). So i started to say may name in my head in a funny voice. And every since then, i cant stop hearing that voice. Please Help me put my mind at rest. go see a phsycologist go see a phycologist i like chicken Everyone hears voices in their heads sometimes. Sometimes, it is your conch ens which is telling you to do something. i had that but it went away You could have schizophrenia. Internet forums are not good places for this type of advice. You should really go see a mental health specialist in person. yes, youre insane. report to news channel , they are starved of such news. both of would be benefitted. you get your good doctor and they get their good TRP. Are you just hearing yourself say that word in that funny voice? That isn't schitzophrenia, that would be more along the lines of obsessive thoughts. However, since you do have OCD and hypochondria (thinking you have a fatal illness when all you have is a cold), I would definitely recommend a visit to a mental health facility. Get your parents to get you an appt with a psychiatrist or psychologist, or visit your local ER. Good luck. deep down, that voice may have been you all the while. Perhaps you could lend an ear to what the voices has to sayy.. Strangely enough, I had these things happen to me also when I was a kid. Not the OCD, but after I had sex for the first time I just knew I had a.i.d.s, and the fear was horrifying. So much so that I never had unprotected sex again. At one time, I started saying my name in my head and it just sounded weird to me and it started to kind of scare me. Don't feel like your alone because this has at least happened to me too. I never talked to anyone about it. I just "took control" of my mind and every time that "voice" would say my name, I would start either reading a book out loud, or watching something on t.v. I wouldn't allow it to take over. If you feel as if you can't control it, and you can't talk to your parent's about it....please at least talk to your counselor at school. Be strong and stay focused! People who have schizophrenia are not aware something is wrong with them. They consider voices in their head and their delusions to be REAL. This is major criteria to distinguish between schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. If you are worried that you might have schizophrenia, then it means you dont have it. I am not saying you do not need to get help but I am sure you don't have schizophrenia. Good luck! Your problem is that you compound issues that you have with other issues to make them worse. Like that funny voice that you started. Here's something new to think about. You have ETDS (emotional thought disorder syndrome). It's where you think of one thing and compound it with others since your line of thought is concentratingly short. Reverse what you think sometimes. Or see a shrink for help. heyyy ur in dilema of thinking something that has not there for u. ur alright don't panic ur self.if u have any health problem better consult doctor as soon as possible. if you have OCD already then maybe when you worry you are overanalyzing. by overanalyzing you are thinking too rapidly for every thought to be logical. that's probably part of why you have voices. it isn't something really bad unless they start telling you to do things. The fact that you know you have a problem is itself reason to see a psychiatrist at the earliest. You need professional help to come out of this and with proper treatment one can come out clean in the end. It also involves taking medication on a long term till you are fully cured. No you're not going mad...that's you hearing in your head... this happens because of thinking . when an incident is come to Ur mind it is in Ur permanent memory . may be some brain related problem i think perhaps you were feeling low, vulnerable and frightened and you convinced yourself these voices were real, you were just intimidating yourself, this has happened to me too, dont worry, its not schizophrenia, you should just perhaps be around friends more......its okay little one Things will get worst if you think again and again. |
