Can you get HIV by treating a blister?

A couple days ago I went to a musical concert and they required us to wear concert fancy shoes. After a couple days I had blisters on my pinky toe, indicating that my shoes were too small. I treated it by popping it with a needle after i wiped it and cleaned it with this alcohol prep pad thing, kinda like the prep pad that you'd use when you get a cut when you're outside that's provided in the first aid kits. Now I have the cold (like stuffy nose, dry mouth [which hurts when i swallow sometimes], slight fever, aching joints, etc etc, just like the common symptoms for colds and flu and things like that.

Is it just a coincidence that I'm getting the flu now, or is it some sort of HIV sypmtoms?

Thanks in advance

Amen, Tweety.

I doubt u have HIV just a cold. But always steralise needles b4 using them to pop blisters (boil them)

hiv is no joke. If you have potentially been exposed to hiv go get tested. But you only get that from direct sexual contact or blood transfer... not wearing somebody elses shoes. Good luck.

I have HIV, full-blown AIDS, actually, and I'm not sure if you are serious or are joking. I have become quite well-informed about HIV, but then anyone can access the same info, it's just a Web browser away. With all the info out there about HIV, you can't honestly believe that you would...

A) Get AIDS by poking a blister with a needle, unless it was a hypodermic that had just been used by a heroin addict, and...

B) That you would show ANY symptoms less than 6 months after the date of infection.

In short, no you silly girl, you DON'T have HIV. You do, however, have a bad case of ignorance combined with Hypochondria. Don't know what a Hypocondriac is? LOOK IT UP!

Please do yourself a favor and go to any HIV website and learn about the disorder. What you have said reflects how little you really know about it.
