Having symptoms for a while now. Could it be bad?

Since February of last year... I started getting symptoms ... went to the doctor they diagnosed me with Walking Pnemonia. Took antibiotics. It went away. I then started feeling dizzy and weird ... so I got a CT scan... all clear. Then In September I had a infection in my testicular. Antibiotics. All cleared. Then I had symptoms, swollen lymph nodes, swollen tonsils (no sore throat), white spot on the side of my tongue, and tiredness... doctor said I have a infection. More antibiotics. So far Ive been on 8 antibiotics since Feb 2007. Im in the middle of my 8th one now... and my lymph node in my neck is growing bigger, tonsils not going down.

What do you think it could be? Im thinking HIV or cancer

your doctor sounds like an idiot - get a second opinion - FAST

Don't stop seeking help if you know something is wrong. Get a second, third, fourth opinion. Do web searches on your symptoms. Seek out specialists. My husband spent a year and a half with 2 broken vertebrae and our family doctors misdiagnosed him with degenerative disc disease. They kept pushing narcotic pain pills at him. We finally insisted on a referral to a specialist. The first appointment a week later after 3 x-rays, an MRI, we were standing out front scheduling his back surgery. They told us that his vertebrae were so far out of alignment, that if he didn't have the fusion he would end up paralyzed from the waste down. My husband's story could have ended very bad, instead he has had a full recovery with no more pain.

Family doc's are great, but seek a specialist if you are not satisfied with what you are being told.

Good luck and God Bless!
