HIV related rash? |
I have a rash on my face that comesand goes. It has been happening for about 4 weeks. Red spots appear on my face and they are gone within 10 to 20 minutes. It happens like once every three days. Could this be ARS rash realted to HIV?? I must add that I dont have fever or any other symptoms at all ARS ( Acute retroviral syndrome) is always associated with spiking fevers, a sore throat and flu-like symptoms. I highly doubt that if it comes for 10-20 minutes that its ARS. ARS sets in 3-6 weeks after unprotected sex with an infected individual. If you lie with in this time frame, and you are worried about it you should do a PCR test. The usual tests can not detect the virus this early. Have you been sick with a virus lately (not HIV virus)? If so you could be having an allergic reaction to the virus in your body. |
