HIV related rash?

I have a rash on my face that comesand goes. It has been happening for about 4 weeks. Red spots appear on my face and they are gone within 10 to 20 minutes. It happens like once every three days. Could this be ARS rash realted to HIV?? I must add that I dont have fever or any other symptoms at all

ARS ( Acute retroviral syndrome) is always associated with spiking fevers, a sore throat and flu-like symptoms. I highly doubt that if it comes for 10-20 minutes that its ARS. ARS sets in 3-6 weeks after unprotected sex with an infected individual. If you lie with in this time frame, and you are worried about it you should do a PCR test. The usual tests can not detect the virus this early.

Have you been sick with a virus lately (not HIV virus)? If so you could be having an allergic reaction to the virus in your body.

My children and hubby got sick with a virus about a year ago and I kept noticing little red rashes popping up on their bodies and it would disappear within a few minutes. Then it would pop up again. It never itched them, just looked scary.

Well I took them to the doctor and he said because they'd been sick with the virus, their body was having an "allergy" to it. He gave them some liquid steroid meds and wahlah....clear as a bell.

So if you've been sick lately and didn't get treated for it, that could be your problem unless you know that you have HIV, in which case I'm sorry to say I don't know what the cause could be.
