Is it possible she is HIV positive?

My friend who was/is a virgin gave this guy oral sex and he then put on a condom and they tried to have sex, but it hurt too much so he pulled out. She woke up the next morning with a tiny rash, that has now spread, followed by a sore throat, headache, fatigue and other flu-like symptoms. She is very negative, so she automatically assumed "HIV", but is it possible it's something else, she says he never came in her mouth, so there was no semen involved? She's really scared and I don't know what to tell her.

The answer to your question is yes, but unlikely, and not due to the symptoms you describe.

There have been documented cases of HIV transmission from oral sex only, although the experts are not sure just how much risk is involved. They're still arguing and trying to figure that one out.

The symptoms you describe are NOT due to HIV from that encounter. HIV would not cause symptoms nearly that quickly.

As far as what your friend has, it could be many things. It is always safest to consult a doctor.

She would not have symptoms of HIV that fast, however, she may have contracted Gonorrhea, or another STD. She needs to see her doctor immediately.

Even a doctor can't be sure without tests. Tell her to go to the doctor and be tested for STD's and AIDS.

maybe she can find support on some STD site

possible

Sounds like a bacterial infection. She should go to the hospital doesnt sound like the HIV virus.

There is no such thing as "right now Aids"
She could simply have the flue....I think its just a coincidence.
See a Dr to be checked out.
