Possibility that i have HIV?

First off I have never had sex of any kind but I am posting this question because I volunteered in a hospital and worked for a person who had HIV before. It may have been a few years ago but I had a shallow cut from a threading needle/pin and I bled a little bit. I didn't think anything of it but when I entered college (it has been about 2-3 since that incident), I experience forgetfulness, flaky skin, minor fevers, constant hunger, great lack of energy, bronchitis + dry cough (get it every year). I have gone down from 155 lbs to 135 lbs even though i eat an enormous amounts of food (around 2000-3500 calories/day) and somehow i'm really skinny. All these symptoms are minor but I am curious to know are there any definite signs that i have HIV? What is the time bracket that symptoms should show up after being exposed?

I don't know. Whatever it is, get that blood test and fast! You should ALWAYS get things like this, checked out.

It might not be HIV. It could be something else. Go to your doctor and confirm all your symptoms. They know what they are talking about.

they can show after 3 months.

And GO TO THE GUM CLINIC.
The 'syptoms' cannot be confirmed until you get tested.

I do not think you have it.

Go get tested.

Looking for a doctor, urgently and good luck!!!!!!

You most likely do not, but you should really go to a doctor and ask for an HIV test. Wouldn't you rather do that and find out now instead of latter when it might be too late?

its possibly not HIV...if u get tested it will be proved also so u better get tested

Go to your GP ASAP X

Im sorry i dont want to scare you at all! and believe me it does sound like HIV symptoms. i dont know about it very much. but the only way youll have a defeniate answer is by getting checked! youll only scare yourself more if just keep thinking about it and stressing your mind will play with you! the mind is a powerfull thing. Take a test and then go from there. its better for you to be informed then to never know. Good Luck.
