Is lost of appetite a symptom of HIV? "symptoms" are extremely misleading. There are several things that a lost appetite could be a product of. As a hypochondriac myself, when I get nervous because I have a "symptom", I will lose my appetite from being nervous and depressed. No way to tell unless you get tested. That varies from person to person and it could be a symptom of alot of different things.
