What are the odds of HIV if I used 2 condoms?

7 years ago I had a fling with a girl and used 2 condoms. I am now reading that using 2 condoms is bad because of friction that might break them. I used a high quality brand (trojan), but still I'm worried now. I havent been with anyone else since and dont plan to until I marry (reborn christian). But...I am worried now. I was 19 when I was with this girl. I'm now 26 and havent had symptoms of HIV as of yet. What do you think the odds are that I have it? I dont think the condoms broke but I cant be 100% sure. Thanks.

You're a man and had sex with a girl.
First of all, the chances of getting HIV through normal heterosexual intercourse are rather small. There have been married couples where one had HIV who had sex for years and the other wasn't infected. So the chance of getting HIV by just one encounter are quite small.

This is if the girl had HIV in the first place; if this girl wasn't from a riskgroup (drug user, prostitute) the chances are really small in the first place that she has HIV.

Second you usued two condoms; now condoms can rapture, but you should have noticed it afterwards I would say. If it didn't rapture there is no way you could have contracted HIV.

From what you tell me I would say that there is a bigger chance to win the Jackpot in a nationwide lottery with just one ticket than that you contracted HIV on the one sexual encounter.

There have been people who, for political reasons, have tended to exagerate the chances of contracting HIV for heterosexuals, in fact, in the western world it's almost exclusively a disease that effects homesexuals (inclusing of course the hidden, ones, the married types goin secretly to meeting places, don't underestimate the number of them) und users of drugs, especially intravenous drugs and of course the prostitutes that don't take protection that seriously.

well if your unsure or worried about it go and get tested because you never know. Don't take the risk see your doctor!

Just go get tested. Then you will know for sure and can stop worrying about it.

I think you're worrying yourself over nothing.I think you're fine but if you're so worried go to your doctor and explain your concerns and have them test you.

I would imagine you are fine but if you are reborn and want to start a clean slate go get a full check up and put your mind at rest.

Using two condoms is bad, you're right.

No offense, but how on earth do you expect us to know if you're HIV+?!?! Go get a test, they're free.

Just get checked dude!
OMG find a free HIV testing in your
area.
