What does a cough look like to ensure it's an HIV symptom?

How long does cough take? why the cough reemerges after the first treatment?

In fact, there is not only cough but I also have dizziness, headache and chill. Thus, can the cough is an opportunistic disease of HIV? Also, I am not sure how long they appear to prove they are HIV symptoms

Coughs are not an HIV symptom.

Night sweats, diarrhea, slow healing are the most common. Fatigue.

Coughing is in no way indicative of an HIV infection.

If you are HIV and experiencing a cough, it is probably for the same reasons a negative person is experiencing them: irritation, allergy, or inflammation due to another pathogen.

to add to what the other guy said. cough is not a symptom of hiv but it can be a symptom of "Pneumocystis carinii" a specific pneumonia that Aids pts are diagnosed with. and of course there are also other symptoms to help with the diagnosis like fever, difficulty breathing, and a + chest xray

If you had a pneumonia could be , specially fungal or P. Carini.
But cough is not a typical symptom of HIV infection.

Dear friend.Take heart. There is cure for almost all diseases at present.Let me point out some possible HIV symptoms. Some people, get a flu-like illness within three to six weeks after exposure to the HIV virus. This HIV sympton is called Acute HIV Syndrome. It may include fever, headache, tiredness, nausea, diarrhea and enlarged lymph nodes .These symptoms usually disappear within a week to a month and are often mistaken for another viral infection. Cough may be accompanied with the possible HIV symptons. But having persistent cough alone does not assure that one has HIV infection. If you are reluctant to visit a Doctor,I would recommend you to go through a guide which is informative on the subject HIV .You download it at http://www.helpcure.com/hiv/

Coughing is not a symptom of HIV. In fact, because so many 'symptoms' of HIV are the same as the 'symptoms' of so many other illnesses, you should never use any of them to diagnose yourself.

If you think you may be infected, you should get tested six weeks after exposure and then again at 12 weeks.
