Untreated HIV, what can someone expect as far as progression of symptoms and timre frame? |
This is for a paper The progression of the disease varies from person to person. However, if it is left untreated, the virus will continue to multiply, leading to full blown AIDS and eventually, death. One person may live longer than another. There is no way to set a time period. Everyone is different. However, a person with a stronger immune system will likely remain symptom-free longer than someone who is already immuno-compromised. death This would really depend on how the person is taking care of themselves. Were they healthy to begin with, are they using street drugs??? There really is no right answer for this. Here is a site I use often and am subscribed to it. It's great for answering all your HIV questions. Hope it helps you with your paper. |
