Will you experience symptoms within one year of being infected with hiv?

not necessarily.

I am HIV infected and i can tell you that everybody body is different. once you become infected it could take years for your immune system to even detect the virus and then once it is detected you might have a naturally strong immune system and still never have symptoms.
