Wht are the initial symptoms of being affected by HIV.? This virus can be symptomless for the first 24 weeks of infection. Most people however develop a measles/ flu like illness during that period (characterised by a rash, fever, nausea etc). After this the immune system recovers slightly ant the person may become "healthy" again. This is only temporary as from this point on the system is in a steady decline and the infectwed person will become more prone to event the mildest of ilnesses. At this point the disease can progress from HIV to full blown AIDS. Death is usually caused by some other infectuion that the immune system is too weak to fight off. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiv#The_cli... HIV is a virus which destroys your WBCs we get ill frequently and person had to meet death |
