When do the symptoms of HIV/AIDS infection show up shortly after you have been infected? |
Also, what are the early signs of HIV/AIDS? The acute symtpoms you are referring to are experienced by anywhere from 40-90% of people newly infected with HIV. They are usually expperienced 2-4 weeks after infection but can occur anywhere up to 3 months. From what I understand, shortly after a person is infected, the only sign is a fever, sometimes high, sometimes not, sometimes non existant. Then it starts doing its dirty work. from what i have learned from the internet it can take up to months like about 6 .. maybe , but just to be safe use protection ..kk |
