Does anyone know any early HIV symptoms? |
Does anyone know any early HIV symptoms? "Some people develop flulike symptoms shortly after infection, but many have no symptoms. It may be a few months or many years before serious symptoms develop in adults; symptoms usually develop within the first two years of life in infants infected in the womb or at birth. Before serious symptoms occur, an infected person may experience fever, weight loss, diarrhea, fatigue, skin rashes, shingles (see herpes zoster), thrush, or memory problems. Infants may fail to develop normally." Every HIV case is different, some people say they suffered flu like symptoms, some people go years without ever having any symptoms at all, until they develop full blown AIDS, my dad died of AIDS years ago, he had no symptoms of HIV, then one day he got a cold, the cold didn't seem to go away so he went to the doctor and found out he had AIDS, if you even think there's even the slightest chance, no matter how small of a chance it might be, I urge you to get tested, if you don't have it, it will put your mind at ease, if you do, with the earliest intervention possible, it could extend your life up to an additional 20+ years, Magic Johnson has been living with HIV since the early 90's, once upon a time that would've seemed impossible! |
