Do I experience HIV symptoms?

2 weeks ago I had protected sex with a woman. During sex I had had my candom broken. I pulled out , used another one and carried on. Then I had sex with another woman, oral sex unprotected, and carried on with protected sex.
I dank too much that night and smoked around 40 cigarettes.
After 2 days I had a sore throat and mild fever but recoved within 5 days.
But recently I can feel a small lymph node under my left armpit (is is painful somehow, especially when I keep checking it).
I am afraid of HIV. Do you think thatI am experiencing the early symptoms???

I think you should abstain from sex, be safe, have a girl friend and both be checked before entering a sexual relationship and even then-if they cheat on you or vice a versa there you go--Wait till your married. God didn't make these laws for nothing.

No. From what I know it takes longer for any side affects. Call your doctor to get checked but it's probably nothing.

go get a test. i guess i would be feeling paranoid 2. I would just keep getting tested.

Highly unlikely that anything would appear so quickly. Get to the Docs and let them check you over.

If you have a swollen lymph node under your arm that is something that could be cancerous. If you did come in contact with HIV you would not be having symptoms that soon. It can take 10 years for HIV to even show up. Go see a doctor as soon as you can and get tested every year.

I would get tested. There is a syptom of HIV called the "Initial Flu" which is sort of like what you described. It does seem pretty early to be showing symptoms though, so I wouldn't get too worried about it. You should get checked though, for your own safety and others.

Don't worry - you're probably fine. A fever, sore throat and raised lymph nodes are all very common and often appear together. Normally the acute symptoms of HIV infection are a bit more severe than what you've described.

It's very rare indeed for HIV to be transmitted during oral sex.

Having said all that, it would best to go for a check-up anyway. Sexually active adults are recommended to get a test for STD's once a year. When was your last one?
