Getting tested?

Im a really paranoid person and because I've had sex and though I have no symptoms I would still like to get checked for HIV since symptoms dont always show. So where could I go and about how much does it cost?

I would go to your personal doctor and speak with them about getting tested. dont test only for hiv...test for all std's! if you dont have insurance, the tests could be expensive...probably starting around $150 and up

If you are paranoid then get tested for all STD's including herpes. It would be foolish to only test for one std when other's could cause you physical harm if left untreated.

Get your pap smear and all of the std screening. You can do this at your Gyn. office, a health clinic or any planned parenthood office.

Omg I just got tested friday and I am losing my mind!! I am so afraid of the results, I have had protected sex every time, and I am still paranoid!! It is a scary feeling...You can to your doc or a public heath center. Warning: The symptoms during the waiting period, nausea, mood swings, and upset stomach!! I am making myself sick thinking about it but I pray for the best....But you should do it anyway....
