Pulling out and using Plan B?

Hey whats up. Me and my girlfriend had sex on the 12/13th day of her 30 day cycle. No condom (yea I know, stupid). But I pulled out, and within 5 hours we went to get Plan B. She took it. Its worked before in this same situation. Only thing that concerns me is I heard woman are most fertile between days 14-19. Anyways, I would just like some help/answers to let me know my chances. And please dont tell me that it doesnt protect from AIDS or HIV....we both tested negative.

This method is estimated to have a 27% failure rate annually among typical users. That means that every year, over 1 in 4 people using withdrawal as their only method of birth control will get pregnant. Failure rates will be lower for couples using withdrawal in combination with another method. Perfect users can expect a failure rate as low as 4%, which actually compares favorably to many other methods. . Withdrawal has a 31% annual failure rate for teens because they typically have less practice using this method effectively.

Emergency contraception decreases the possibility of pregnancy by 75% -89% depending on the type of medication taken. If 100 women have one act of sexual intercourse during their most fertile time, approximately 25 will become pregnant. Depending on the emergency contraception used, 3 to 6 will become pregnant. This method is most effective the earlier it is taken.Emergency contraception is not as effective as other uses of contraception

First, pulling out early does not prevent pregnancy because sperm can be present in pre-ejaculate fluids -- not many, but as you know, it only takes one -- and so it should never be used as birth control.

Second... to be frank, there's a reason they call it "Plan B."
It's supposed to be an emergency backup, not a replacement, because it doesn't prevent conception. It keeps the growing embryo from implanting in the uterus. According to their website, it's 89% effective at preventing implantation when used within 72 hours.

If her period is late, she may be pregnant and should take a test to find out.

hi. i am 25, married and have 3 kids. one was planned and the other two were happy surprises. one we did the pull out method and the other we used a condom. well we got two beautiful babies from those two. pulling out, your penis has the most semen in the first drips which was in her before you pulled out. good luck with not getting pregnant. if you aren't wanting to get pregnant ask her to take the pill or get a paraguard. i have a paraguard in me and i love it and haven't gotten pregnant in 2 yrs. good luck.
