This is driving me insane and i need good advice.?

i have been with my bf for a year now and we have always been having unprotected sex i am the first partner he has had unprotected sex with i recently did a hiv test which came out negative which was a relief the gf he had b4 me which was over 4yrs ago when he lost his virginity he used condoms. when i asked the clinic if i need to come back to be retested they said no and that it is a clear negative and that i have covered myself for my current bf and other previous bf's i have had so am i right in saying that if my bf that i have been with for a year had hiv i would have had it by now since i have been having sex with him for a year unprotected?

they also said if i have been with the same partner for a year there is no need to come back and that the only reason i would need to come back is if i cheated or had doubts or if he cheated. but the thing is i know my bf is serious and sensible and doesnt run around after woman having sex he is very commited and faithful to me. sometimes these health advisors give you reason to doubt

Can't give you advice on your question because I can't read it I'm afraid.

Here's some (constructive) advice - learn to punctuate your sentences.

i really can't understand what you are worrying about , if he has only had one girlfriend befor you, and he used condoms, then he's safe, and if you haven't been around with different partners there should have been no reason for you to even have wanted an HIV test , so why did you , i find it odd

OMG!!! Enough with the HIV questions. Obviously there is more going on in this situation that makes you believe that either one of you is positive. You don't know who he is with unless you are chained to him and go eveywhere he goes everyday. All you can do is trust that what he tells you is true. Why don't you just use condoms?

Health workers have assured you that you are ok with your present bf. They have said all that should be said. What else is driving you insane?
