he said has hiv and i had sex with him with a condom am 18 and his 22, i use a condo i had sex with him monday how long does the test take to show up If you did not come in contact with his body fluids=sperm, u will be okay. and u said that u used a condom, good girl! i think u r safe, but just incase, visit a doctor and tell him and ask when u can have a blood test and he will tell u after how long it can be detected. don't worrie! i wish u all the best! and always use condoms! You poor thing. I hope this isn't something that he would joke about. Sometimes it can take 6 months to a year for the antibodies to show up for HIV. Go get tested and continue to go back every 3 months until you're cleared for a year and you should be good. After that, get tested at least once a year. Good Luck!!! Just get tested three months after the exposure. You weren't at risk unless the condom tore, HIV antibodies do not show up after 6 months, but on average take 22 days, but it is now three months for a conclusive test. |
