Could i have hiv or am i paranoid?

1) a few days after the incident i got a sore throat that seems to be lingering around with me. still with me today (i think part of its because im looking for it)
2) 9 days after incident i came down with a cold, weak and tired feeling. and no energy that lasted for a bit less then one day.
3) about a week or less i developed white stuff on my tounge ( which seems to kind of scrape off somewhat, and a few bumps on the very back of my tounge) still with me today.
4) abdomen pain that developed 14 days after incident. it felt like a pain you would get after working out, it went away after a day, but there is one spot that is still giving me pain right below my rib cage.
5) no weight loss, headaches, muscle pain, or anything like that.
6) partner says clean, and showed me test showing that
could it all be in my head, could there actually be something wrong with me besides hiv. i guess the only way to know is to go to the doctors. but for hiv i have to wait longer, im so nervous.

oh yeah, pain in abdomen comes and goes, not really there in the morning, but as the day progresses it comes back.

Sounds like you are paranoid.

Go to the Dr and get yourself checked out for your own peace of mind.

Get a routine test about every three months...I'm paranoid too!

Use many protective means, and yes that means a condom!

Get tested with your partners before you have sex.

The symptoms could be any number of things, but I doubt that AIDS (which is when the symptoms of HIV start to show up) could incubate that quickly...

A partner can show you a piece of paper saying that person is negative. But there is a 3 month window period where if there was any unprotected sex the partner could become infected. With that said, Go get a HIV test done to ease your mind. Remember the 3 month window period, if someone is infected HIV will show up 90% of the time after 30 days, 94-96% after 60 days and 99.6% after 90 days. Find a local STD clinic or AIDS service organization that does testing, also check to see if they do rapid testing. That way you will have your result in 20 minutes. Good Luck.
