Thinking about becoming a Massage Therapist in FL I have a Few questions? |
Looking into the curriculum for the FL licensing I see you have to have the 3 hour HIV/AIDS course. I've read some things that make it appear that you are required to provide a blood sample and get tested yourself and part of the course. Is this true or am I misunderstanding? Spend the time to find the office staff person who reviews license applications in Florida. She/he will have the answer for you. Make sure anything you read comes straight from the source that will be critiquing your application. There are a lot of misunderstood opinions about credentialing that are just not true. However, Florida credentials enough MTs that it would not surprise me if a test is required prior to licensing. Go straight to the source and chat with the right person. |
