Stress/Anxiety physical pain or HIV? |
Ive been a lot the past month with a rape incident... and well my doctors keep telling me the physical pain of shooting pain or nerve pain, muscle aches all over, all of that is just stress.. how and why wont it go away if its stress? its been a month and now its a new month it should go away soon right??? im suffering from a lot.. PTSD, ANXIETY, all of that bc of the rape.. but my physical pain of nerve pain, muscle aches/tension, feeling depressed..has me thinking its HIV. My attacker was negative of the orasure oral testing. and I had been tested negative for all stds and sti's including HIV plus a normal papsmear/cervical screening.. like i said my attacker tested negative thru a oral testing like orasure or oraquick.. not sure of the test.. and i tested thru blood for everything, every little std/sti ever.. and its all Negative.. Dear It's not HIV, HIV symptoms don't present that quickly, usually it takes years for symptoms to present. I would ask your doctor to start you on an anti-anxiety medication. does not sound like HIV or any other STD. You should go talk to a doctor about your depression and anxiety. That is what is causeing your physical pain. From your mental pain of the rape. I was raped when i was a teen. Find a rape group in your area and go to it. It helps to know your not alone. And talking about it will help you get past it. Your physical pain will decrease when your mental pain is healed. Its all connected. good luck. Praise be to Allaah. |
