Serious HIV anxiety...please help.?

I worry a lot bout my health... like I am not a health fanatic with being thin or exercising, its a little different...
On a daily basis I worry bout HIV...

It hurts me because I am seeing a really great guy, but hes been with quite a few women...
He's explained to me that he's used protection every time.... and every time we have sex, we use protection without a doubt... but it still worries me a lot.
I know he doesn't have it, because he wouldn't let that happen to himself... seems like I would be worried a lot more about less serious diseases like herpes... but no... HIV is the issue for some reason....

I cant ever seem to convince myself that I don't have it.
I don't know what to do anymore.... I am getting an exam next month from my doctor, and I think I am gonna see if I can get tested too... but I just don't want to live in SERIOUS fear over this anymore.... Please help...

The last relationship I was in, I was more worried bout my boyfriend cheating on me, than enjoying him....
The thing was, I wasn't worried bout him being with another girl.. I was worried that I was going to get HIV from him... when he didn't even have it, nor was he cheating on me...

You should be worried as HIV/AIDS kills. If your boyfriend loves you then you and him both should go and get tested for everything on the same days at your local health dpt. Also, go back to retest in 6 months to make sure that you are negative.

You may have some unwarranted anxiety so you should see your doctor sweetie about your suicidal thoughts. As for the HIV scare, possibly getting tested on the same day with your boyfriend should help quell your fears.

Sweetie, sharing your body is serious and very dangerous when done with the wrong person. Would you rather him say "Oh by the way, I did have unprotected sex with other females". He may not tell you. Most people who get infected with STDs don't so so knowingly. Also, if he won't get tested with you then find someone else who cares enough about you and will or don't have sex. All sex can lead to an STD, even herpes, when using a condom and the transmitting partner showing no signs and symptoms. Sex is not a game and should be taken serious especially in non-monogamous relationships.

you would know if you have hiv, because of the symptoms like pain in the genitals or something, good thing you consulted a doctor, also you might want to check assistance from a psychiatrist, im not saying that your a psycho but you know sometimes its a mind over matter thing. i'll pray for you.

hm u sound like me i cause panic attacks on myself worrying if i am dying from hiv or something the only way to get over it is by getting tested. witch i will be on thur. if u still worry after u get tested see a mental clinic they will try & help u since u say u dont have enough money for thearphy.

Celibacy is the only part time solution until you can see a doc about getting some therapy for your anxiety disorder. If you know you fee this way, why would you put yourself in a situation that will cause you to have exacerbations of these feelings?
