HIV symptom?? please help me.. i feel like i am dying!!?

nerve pain or HIV.. please help me..

i was raped a month ago... my attacker came out negative.. i came out NEGATIVE for every std/sti/hiv/hpv everything.. but the phobia of HIV and me being raped has caused me to think i have contracted the disease.

i have constant muscle spasms, twitching, and shooting pains all over my body.. feels like i also pulled a muscle in eevery part of my body.. IS THIS HIV?? Could he have hiv and it showed up negative on the test? it was a oral testing btw.. OMG i think the test had a error.. please help..

the symptoms started 2 weeks after the rape. I have been seeing the doctor and they say its anxiety.. the police is working on the case so im trying not to worry.. yes I speak with a psychiatrist..even he said its anxiety. but I think the test had a error and I may have contracted HIV! I am dying of this fear please help me.

It's psychological anxiety leading to placebo-like symptoms. Back when I was being tested for cancer, I was so sure I had cancer that I began to have all the symptoms of a late stage of what I was diagnosed with; high fever, night sweats (I was drenched in sweat), rashes, all that business. In the end it turned out I was completely clean.

The mind is a powerful thing, don't let it get to you. If you really really feel you can't get over the fact the test was negative, just do another test. Simple as that.

It is extremely unlikely a HIV test will be a false negative. A false positive test does occur as it did with my wife but further tests said otherwise. However, it usually takes six months for the HIV antibodies to show up so retake the test at the six month mark. If it is negative then your fears should be cleared. If he was negative there should be no way you got HIV. It has to be passed on, it cannot happen from the act alone.

You asked this question before and it has been answered. You have to stop thinking of a physical cause and accept the fact that the rape has caused you mental distress. If it would help get another test. You would not have all these symptoms so soon. Maybe not even for a year or more. Get it out of your head. You are not dying, you do not have HIV.
