HIV? heeelp super worried?

hi i love scarleteen you guys have hlped me a lot.. im really really scared i have dated my current bf for 3 years we have sex for the first time like 6 months ago (protected).. we break up 3 months after that but now we are together again.. i trust him but my bestfriend told me yesterday that my boyfriend had a one nigth stand 2 months ago, when she told me that i really freakd out because we had sex (protected) 4 days ago but we didnt use protection for oral sex. i asqued him if it was true and he said that it isnt is but im not sure i told him that he needs to be honest with me because im afraid of STI and even more of HIV he says that he is telling the truth but i dont understand why my best friend told me that so im really scared.. i dont have the money to take an HIV test and its too soon.. what are the odds of me having HIV? i feel really stupid..

Oral sex is VERY LOW for becoming HIV+, you would have to have a moth that was full of sores and open sore from dental problems. The reason being is that if you had a body fluid in your mouth, you will do 1 of 2 things, spit or swallow. In either case the time the fluid is in your mouth is VERY short. If you spit it is not there long enough to infect you, if you swallow, the enzymes in your saliva will start to break it down and the acid in your stomach will KILL the HIV.

Find a free clinic that does HIV testing, county and city clinic can be free, call and ask. If you have an AIDS service organization near by, ask them if they do free testing.

SO really your odds are very low. But it might not hurt to test now and again in 3 month to give you the peace you need.

well you realy wont know unless you get checked.
but at the meantime dont have any sex.
and dont worried about it cuz thinking about it wont make things better in fact youll just start being paranoid.
so i suggest go get checked after 6 months.
and maybe the girl ur bf had sex with might not have hiv at all.
so relax.

Almost none from oral sex. You would have to wait to be tested for antibodies to build so insist your boyfriend be tested for everything. I am sure you are fine and you cannot be too careful.
