When you ask your gyno for an STD test and they just do the swab, are they testing you for HIV/AID's? No, they are just checking you for the basics. The doctor will draw blood to check for HIV. You will have to sign a consent form to have this done. a wab test dont show any stds. they have to draw blood for it to show if you have it you can go to your local health department and be tested there for free . my hones opion? No.....HIV test is blood.....swab is probably Gonorrhea and Chlamydia no |
