Is my white tongue caused my sinus problems?

Ever since my allergies started acting up, I've been having a white tongue. I looked in the mirror today the tongue has a slight film but the sides of my tongue were a little more whiter.I kinda freaked out because it looked like hairy leukoplakia (sign of HIV) even though my bf is the only partner and I've been tested in the past 6 months.

Am I just overreacting? The hairy leukoplakia would be more obvious right?

Yes, that is most definitely caused by allergies. They do make "tongue scrapers"....your dentist can recommend one to you or you can just pick one up at the store. This will help get that film off your tongue and make it feel more cleaner. :)
