Do i have HIV? please help?

Ok well i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend about a month ago, yes im gay get over it. Now a month later my neck glands got swollen but only my neck glands and no where else and i have read that that this could be a symtom of hiv and since i chose to not be with him anymore he got mad at me and beggd me to get back with him and i said no so he told me that he wasnt clean and that i should get checked. did he say it because he was mad or did he mean it i am so scared right now dont know what 2 think im going to get tested on monday but what is the possibility of me having it

First of all let me say don't pay attention to these terrible cruel cold hearted people on here..I am really sorry your dealing with this. I am in a similar situation, I am a female who had unprotected sex with a male who afterwards told me we'd be even soon and that I got something because he came in my mouth..I am terribly scared I had the same symptoms as you..I tested negative at 25 days and then again at 35 days but there is a 3 month window period that I have to wait out. It's very sad to think someone you thought cared about you could actualy do this to you..All I can say is go get tested and hope for the best..If you feel like emailing me if you need someone to talk to feel free..I am scared too and I can maybe help answer a few questions since the past 2 months I've been researching like crazy...It could be something else something less major just try and stay positive..

The only REAL way is a test. You can speculate all you want, but you won't KNOW. NOW, not to freak you out, but you have to speak with the doctor about the timeline of your results- considering it can take a specific amount of time for HIV to rule positive depending on the test you take. In the mean time, you haven't been given a positive AIDS ticket- relax!!!! GO GET TESTED in 2 days...it's all you can do.

OK don't listen to most of these cold hearted b it ch es. The only thing you can do is get checked & pray you don't have anything. Your boyfriend (or your ex) sounds like a real jerk by the way for not telling you he might not be clean. P.S., no more unprotected sex okay? Better safe than sorry.

That could be from alot of things just get checked. If you bf or ex or whatever had HIV and you had unprotected sex it is possible you contracted it. How do we know why he said it?

It could be something else, not necessarily HIV. But yeah, i guess you'll just have to wait to get tested to really know.

You had unprotected sex, so the chances are 50/50. The only way you will find out is to get tested. What's done is done, so don't go crazy. Your answer will be answered when you get your test results. May this be a lesson for you that should last the rest of your life! You need to take responsibility on yourself to know who you are sleeping with. How you do it to trust people is only in your hands..get tested together and share both of your results on paper. Unfortunately, people can lie and say mean things to hurt others and people can lie to get what they want. You always need to find out in your own way if people can be trusted. If he was lying to you while you were having unprotected sex that he was clean and now he's telling you he isn't....he was putting your life in his hands. Make sure you get tested ASAP and walk away from this learning your lesson from this experience. Stay positive!
