HIV Risk - Followup? |
A few weeks ago, I got drunk and kissed a stripper's breasts while getting a few dances. Then, I got my first cold sore a few days later. After her dances, she mentioned that she had had a baby 6 weeks previously (but mentioned something about using formula), so I started looking at what could be transmitted by breast milk. (Note that I didn't notice any discharge from her nipples before, after or during my dances, though.) I wondered if I should be worried about catching HIV from her (or the guy getting a dance before me). I also later remembered that she touched her labia (no wetness visible) then a minute or two later stuck a finger (maybe not the same one) in my mouth. I took a PCR test at day 19, which was negative. Can I generally stop worrying (and make better decisions in the future)? To clarify, it was an HIV PCR "virus" test and it was negative (no indication of HIV). As told to you before, if there was no lactation in your mouth, and lots of it at that, then there is nothing to worry about. Keep getting regular tests (the CDC says one per year), and try to make better decisions. Strip clubs are fine for looking, not touching! You should go see a doctor and describe to him or her what happened. You should also get tested 6 months from the incident and 1 year after the incident. That way you can be absolutely sure you don't have it. The HIV test do not screen for HIV, but for the antibody for HIV. When you test too soon results may show a false negative because it is too soon. You obviously got face herpes from her. That's how it spreads! I doubt it's HIV but you clearly got an STD. Definitely make better decisions in the future and be sure to inform future women about your new condition so they don't get it. I don't think you do... Not sure... Strippers do that stuff? Wow! I thought there was a no touch policy. Don't go to that place again! It's Yucky! And who the hell strips 6 weeks after delivering a baby. YUCK!!! well that sucks, i agree with pierced try to make better decisions in the future because now your screwed..... :( |
