Slept with a girl with Herpes. I then got Mono for 6 months. Is there a possibilty that it could be HIV? |
I dated a girl that was very dirty about a year ago. She had herpes and took Valtrex for them. Soon after, I got all the symptoms of Mono and was blood tested for it. The test came up positive and I had Mono. I was ill for about 4-5 months after with Mono (yes was blood tested AGAIN and it came up positive months later). Well, my lymph nodes in my neck are swollen right now and I feel fatigued and there are a couple sores in my mouth and genitals. I was reading HIV symptoms. Is it possible that I could have HIV? She could have been lying about it....... Go and get tested as soon as possible....Your symptoms may be of hiv .., the very common symptoms are swollen glands, body rash and pains in joints...These symptor are more enough to make u mentally ill, go and get tested as soon as possible... 2 weeks ago i was also going through this type of situations,i went 4 elisa test and got -ve ...This is worth to be thinkin about symptoms and remain in panic situation...I am 90% sure u dont have hiv .Good luck If you feel like she could have been lying, you should get tested for STD's and HIV; that will give you more peice of mind than anything people can say on here. There is a possibility when you have sex with anyone (condom or no) that he or she could be infected with HIV. Do not rely on us to tell you yes or no. Get yourself tested immediately, and do not have sex with anyone else until you have a clean bill of health. After which, use condoms with spermicide. unless herpes and mono can somehow mutate into hiv.....or, if she also happened to have hiv along with all of those other wonderful little friends. couldn't hurt to go to the clinic (planned parenthood, local hospital) to get checked out. If you had unprotected sex with someone with existing sexual diseases, then yes. I would go to your doctor or health clinic and get tested ASAP. I highly doubt it. When you read the HIV symptoms did they have sores listed as symptoms? I don't think so. I hope for your sake not anyways. Your boned, hard! And you've got herpes for sure. THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL KNOW IS TO GET TESTED this sounds like herpes honey.... take a test or see a doc same thing happened to me. except for the dirty girl part. i had the same thing happen. got mono in like mid feb. and had bumps on my goods and it was no fun at all. hurt when i went to the bathroom for like a week. then as time passed y symptoms weakened. and now i just get random headaches, nausea alot, especially at night. and dizzyness. docs dont know whats up with me. its really irritating so i know what you must be going thrugh. he said to come back in six months after i tested positive for herpes simplex cause he said i might have an hiv. i really hope i dont have one. but its hard not to think that yuou do when you have been sick for a long time. but anyway i bet you just experiencing the same things as me and you will be fine within the next 6 months or so. they say it takes about a year to fully go away so im right here with ya pal. and if you had HIV then that girl would be way messed up so your most likely fine. infact i heard alot f people have herpies . i forget the exact percentage, but its alot. anyway get well soon. just remember yur not alone in this. good luck |
