I'm scared of HIV....?

It has nothing to do with sex. Every time I see blood I stay away from it, because it could be HIV infected, right? I mean anyone, including myself, could be infected with HIV. I've never been tested. I live in the USA, but I am still worried about it.

My question is....should I be worried? Is this a real threat or just my OCD?

Think of paramedics, they encounter blood everyday (mostly), and many of them don't have HIV, and i would imagine that they would get tested. How often do you encounter blood? Probably not much (hopefully), and you should be fine. If your caught up on all your shots, good chanced you won't get it. You just have a real bad case of phobia against HIV.

look there is a real threat and yes you do have a reason to worry if you are sexually active if not no not really and yes blood can give you STD but most of the time if you do not have sex and you dont lick or touch a open wound you most likely not get it

you should be. you should be having responsible sex.

chances are slim if your responsible.
