HIV Elisa 0.051; Cut off 0.152 ; Patient result Negative. What does it mean?

What is meant by HIV Elisa 0.051 and Cut off 0.152. Please tell me the interpretations as well as testing methodology.

it means a negative result

Elisa means enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. If positive it should be confirmed by PCR to be sure that the patient is having AIDS.

HIV Elisa 0.051 and Cut off 0.152.

That means that the reaction was not strong enough to be considered positive.

ELISA always gives a reaction- it's just the way the test works.

CONGRATULATION U R SAFE. FOR METHODOLOGY, APPROCH LAB WERE IT IS DONE.
