Have you been tested for HIV/AIDS? or has your significant other been tested?

Is it that scary of a test to take?

thanks,
L
=^^=

Ive been tested twice because I work with Hepatitis and HIV+ blood.

I was nervous the first time I took the test but I really felt better knowing the truth rather than constantly wondering about it. The test itself isnt scary: you get your blood drawn and that's it. I hate getting my blood drawn but its like getting blood drawn for any other test your doctor may order.

yes i have gotten the test, and it is scary..until you know the truth.
for me it was negative,so after that everything was fine and dandy :).

I protect myself every time, but yes I have been tested and it was not that scary for me since I knew the results would be negative.

Yes, because every time you give blood or have an operation they test you for HIV. No it's not scary, but I think I would be pissed if I got it now since I don't cheat.

Yes. Better safe than sorry.

nope i havent.
but then again im not sexually active. :].

Yes..blood test before marriage. no, it's not scary if you know you don't have it.

never...

No, and no. We've been with each other since we were 15 and have only ever had sex with one another. (We're now 21)

Well, I'm only 16..so..

We were both tested.....not scary, we knew our risks were low.
