I got raped and I need to know when to take a pregnancy test?

No I didn't take a morning after pill because my mind was too focused on what had just happened to me so please don't ask. I'm moving pass the rape a lil thanks to the man being lucked up and the help of my church. I haven't forgot it I don't think I ever will and I get scared sometimes but I'm trying to keep clam and not drive myself crazy. The guy I was in a relationship with raped me when he thought I was cheating on him so I'm going to get a hiv test and pap smear to check for any other disease so my question is when I got for all of that is it too soon to test 2 weeks after the possible conception night?

I'm very sorry about what happened to you. When they test for everything else, they'll most likely be drawing blood and they'll test for a possible pregnancy if you ask. Blood testing can be done a lot sooner and is more accurate than urine so two weeks should be fine.

Typically people can start testing for pregnancy two weeks after ovulation. If you know when period should start then test that morning for accuracy. Unfortunately you are under major stress understandably, but that stress may cause period to be late.
Good luck, and speak to doc if period is more than a week or so late but you aren't seeing positive on pregnancy.

If this happened to you then I'm very sorry, but I've been through this too and in the time it'd take for the rape to happen and then go through the courts and then him eventually getting locked up in prison you'd know by then if you were pregnant without a test. That's because it takes months and months for the whole process to happen... so I'm not really sure I understand your question there.

i feel for you. I was raped at 14 by my firends best guy friend at her birthday party, then again a few months back by my daughters father while we were trying to reconcile our relationship.

you have to wait atleast two weeks after the date of intercourse to test.

They would do allt he testing at the hospital, and they should have given you the morning after pill then...just to make sure. Wait till your period is due, then test...good luck to you...

I don't understand...you asked a question that said you were 10 weeks pregnant...do you have no time on your hands. Rape is a serious subject!

You can start testing now, and every other day until you get your period. A positive is a positive. A negative may or may not be negative.

It may be a bit early to test yet, but if you want to try testing now, use your first morning urine, and buy a box of First Response Early Response pregnancy tests. These have been proven to be the most accurate at detecting hcg levels at as low as 12.5mIU/hgc compared to most other pregnancy tests that test at 50 mIU/hcg. I have been doing plenty of research on this lately because I too am waiting to take a test but it is under different circumstances. Good Luck, and remember, it is best to test more than once for complete accuracy, if you test in the morning, wait a week and test again, if you still think you may be pregnant, talk to your doctor. Walgreens has a good price for three first response early pregnancy tests, it is about $20.

I think you should see a doctor or go to a planned parenthood for help however. you could tell them what happened and it would remain confidential. They would be able to give you a blood test to determine if you were pregnant or not on the spot and guide to determine what to do. If you are insistent on taking a test wait about 5 days after you have missed your period.

So 4 months ago you were pregnant, then you were put on BC because of endo, you went to the hospital the night of the rape and didn't give you the morning after pill.... When did you miscarry? Or is this all just boredom? I don't mind some people fishing because someone out there might just have this as a legit question just too afraid to ask but I am curious?
