Could i get an std from this?

Okay, no preachy answers--I know this is a little trashy, but calm down. I've been dating this guy non-exclusively, so because we're not exclusive I don't want to have sex, but I did let him masturbate and ejaculate on my chest. He did, and it dried on my chest while we were talking in bed, then I rubbed it off with my hand and later washed it off in the shower. I noticed that one of my fingers had a hangnail, but not an open cut or anything. He claims he got tested recently, but I just hope I couldn't get HIV from this.

I wouldn't be worried at all about this particular incident. The HIV virus is quite fragile outside body fluids and you say the semen had all dried AND the cut was closed.

However, ever time he has sex with someone else is *potentially* an exposure to an STD that he could be bringing to you. We all know that despite what your intentions are entering a bedroom, sometimes negotiation or hormones change the plan. You may find yourself doing something more risky or intimate another time.

In your situation I would explain to him that because you are non-exclusive and because you need to FEEL safe, you need to see the results of his HIV test. That will actually be nearly meaningless but it could bring him around to understanding the stakes and your concerns. It will be nearly meaningless because his status could change the next time he has sex with someone else.

Further to that, any sexual contact, even the one you described, should be done with a condom. No glove, no "love". He won't like this no doubt but intense intimacy is earned partly through exclusivity. If he just wants to get his rocks off, and you are willing to help, then YOU make up the terms. He abides by them or he puts you at risk.

If you are thinking you can just become exclusive after getting tests (HIV isn't the only STD of course) I'd be wary of any claim he made to being faithful to you only. If he's bed hopping now, I'm not sure he's trustworthy because he's thinking more about his satisfaction than your safety.

Well, what you do in your own time is completely up to you so i am not about to lecture you. All i have to say is that if you dont know enough about STD's to know how they can be caught and passed on etc, you shouldnt be having sex or doing anything sexual with someone who is probably sleeping around. Its very unsafe for you to have an sexual contact with someone who you are not absolutely certain is clean. You cannot just catch STD's through intercourse there are other ways, oral sex for example. Please respect your body and save it for someone who respects you enough to be with you only.

That Bastard should got to jail if he is suffering from STD. Well u will not get infected if is not bleeding or an open wound.

if it's not an open cut, then u should be fine (and a side note: NEVER NEVER trust that someone is "clean" just because they say they are)

You could only get it if it was an open cut..
But yeah, get proof.

I agree with answerer 1. Don't believe what you don't see. Get proof he's clean.
