I'm so terrified ...

Ok so I am 23 and have been tested once for STD's and was diagonised(sp) with Chylmida. At the time I had it i did have smelly discharge , but nothing else. Well my b/f and I took the meds. and delt with that. My current b/f is the only guy I have had unprotected sex iwth who has finished inside of me . Lately I have been having weird pains. I went to the hospital ad they said my white blood cells where elevated which is a sign of infection,but they couldn't find any, but they didn't do std testing to try and find any that way. Well ever since my period has been all weird every month.. spotting on and off and weird cramps... it's not smelly or there's nothing differnt about down there, but I can't help but think that I may have HIV or something else knowing that my blood cells are elevated and I do have an infection but what ?? I want to go get tested, cause the only time i did it was years ago, like 5 years ago. i am just terrified of the results, cause it seems as if maybe I do have somthing... How do I get over being so scared.... ahhh I don't know what to do ?

sorry for the details, but also i have been having a lot of white discharge.. more then regular.. I have take pregnancy test , but thats not it either.... plese no rude comments

The facts I have latched on to here, are that you have been having unprotected sex recently, you are not on the pill, you have a probable infection somewhere, you have abdominal pains and crampy spotty periods (new), a negative pregnancy test, and a white discharge.

In my opinion you should consider go back to the hospital and asking about a

- - - - 'Scan for "Retained Products of Conception,"'

I don't want to alarm you, but it's just conceivable that you have had a very early miscarriage, which has not been cleared out properly from inside your womb, and which has got infected inside there. Or at least, that the womb lining is a bit infected.

I think it may have nothing to do with a sexual infection, or HIV. It sounds more routine to me.

Just go and get it done. HIV can be dormant for up to 7 years, so check it. When you had chlamydia did they check you for HIV then? Stop thinking about just you too, think about that other person that has to be told what's going on. Best of Luck, you're in my prayers.
