What would make you get false results in a boold test being the hiv or other blood test?

this is too general a question to answers properly...

are you trying to fake a test? are you looking for reasons a test may be wrong? Also there are too many tests (which one??!!) , literally hundreds, to go into. other is not specific enough.....

However cross contamination or a false positive (there are loads of reasons for false positives, depending on the test and possible mistakes that could be made and quality control issues) would produce an inaccurate result.
