Normal pap smear negative HIV test |
I tested negative for HIV 12 weeks after one time unprotected sex..All other STD's negative at the same time I took my 12 week HIV test I got a pap smear..HIV test negative and pap smear normal..What are my chances that I have HIV? I heard that even in the very begining of contracting HIV that your pap smear may be abnormal..13 weeks is 3 months but I got tested at 12.. I don't think that having a pap smear would reveal if you had HIV or not. HIV is tricky and it may not show up on a test for 6 month to a year. So just to be extra safe get tested in a few more months. |
