Can you get a HIV/STD test without your parents knowing at age 15? |
And If so, what if you come up negative for a test, and you need persecution, then will you need your parents? Im a virgin, but i've came in close contact, so im worried about it a little. Go to your local Planned Parenthood or Dept. of Health office. The testing is confidential. Your results can't be released to anyone (even your parents or your doctor's office) without your written consent. If you test positive, the Dept. of Health has to be notified, and they can help you get treatment. I dont think you can, because im sure you have to be 16, to go to the doctors, - dentist and so on on your own, and ovbiousley im not sure if they will cos at 15, your not ment to have sex, so there shouldnt be a chance of HIV/STD's.. - You will propabley need your parents for both the test - and treatment if you need it.. - just tell them im sure they'll feel more trusted if you tell them - and then they would think " well shes had sex but shes is now thinking of the consequences " Yes, you can. You can go to Planned Parenthood and they will take care of you without your parents knowing. They will ask you how is the best way to contact YOU without your parents knowing. They accept most insurances. Oh, I think you can get some advice from the online STD counselor on a Herpes dating site" STDpal.COm". |
