How long does it take for hiv test results

i took my annual hiv test wed and i havent heard back yet...

thats normal. it normally takes a couple of days to get the results, not counting the weekend. :)

Depending on the type of test, it could take anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 1/2 weeks to get the results back. The person who tested you should have told you when to expect to get the results back. Also, some places are not allowed to give results over the phone, so they ask you to make an appointment to come in to get your results.
