Is this symptoms of an STD? |
About 4 days after I had unprotected sex with a girlfriend, I broke out with a virus like sickness that lasted 6 days of hell. My right tonsil has a little white bump on it, that hurt when I swallowed, and I ran a 100-103 fever for 3-4 days straight and had a stuffed nose throughout this time. About 9 days past and all of those virus symptoms were gone. Before my symptoms left, I went to the doctor and got a check-up to see what was going on, Strep Throat test came back negative, and he said it was probably just a week long virus. I have never had any of the other HIV symptoms I've seen explained on the web (Fatigue, Diarrhea, Bruising, Chills, Fevers often, Flue symptoms, etc.) None of those have ever happened again since then. This was a year ago and I have not even been sick since then. Do you think that this is a sign of HIV or another STD? Sounds like you had mono. |
