Can we get HIV infection after three years ? test report is negative every time.?

More than 98% of people who have HIV would test positive within 3 months. In very rare cases, it could take up to 6 months for someone to test positive. If your last possible exposure was 3 years ago, and your test result is negative, you are fine, and do not need to retest.

HIV tests will show accurate results after 6 months of sexual intercourse, 9 months to be safe. If it's still negative after 3 years, you're fine.

While the HIV antibodies don't typically develop for 6 months (the "HIV test" tests for the presence of antibodies, not the virus itself) it can lay dormant for a long time. If you're truly concerned, GO TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR.
