Am I "paranoid" because I refuse to have sex with anyone unless they get a current, and full, HIV & STD test? You should always assume that everyone you are with has HIV. Always use condoms, and that way you are always safe. It's not a very romantic way to look at things, but it kept me well after so many of my friends were less fortunate. I think you are smart and that any one who has a problem with it isnt worth it. That being said, however, clean test results mean nothing. Things can change between the time they took the test and when you have sex with them. So, clean test results are not a free pass, but rather an added layer of protection that should be used in conjunction WITH condoms and other protection (NOT instead of). Yes and no. The first answerer is correct, that facts could change and there are lots of ways to engage in "safe" sex. nope you're not paranoid, you're smart to do that. a little yes, use a condom. this is not possible. |
