Hiv prenatal blood test got me scared?

i am 5 months pregnant by now and i had this test done by my doctor pap smear and ETC but when i saw the circled hiv blood work circled it got me kind of nervous its not that i am fooling around with any other guys its just the fear i did have one done about 6 months ago you know the easy one that takes probably like 20 minutes to get the results and it was negative but now that they mentioned it again it got me thinking over a month now that i had my next control visit i was thinking they will probably give me the results but nope all they did was check my blood pressure baby heart beat and had another test taken for diabetes and nothing else do you think if something was wrong they would have told me right away or should i keep waiting it has been about a month already i am still nervous

AT your stage of pregnancy they would have called you if you were HIV+ as you would need medications for the baby's sake. You should be fine.

They would have told you immediately! They would have started you on medication because It is possible to be HIV positive and not pass it to the fetus with proper care. BTW: they test all pregnant mothers for HIV with each pregnancy. It is standard now.

That is a pretty standard test now. I wouldn't be worried about it if something was wrong they would tell you right away.
