If i feel i have hiv symptoms but the test comes -ve does that mean i got no hiv? |
actually i had got canker sores suddenly wen a few days back You can go ahead and do your celebratory dance. The chances of a false HIV negative are very slim. you dont have HIV if you tested negative for it. i suggest getting tested again at some point in the near future, as HIV does not show up right away... though it all depends on when you feel you were exposed to it. canker sores can be caused by stress, or what i;ve noticed, sunlight... dont be stressed. What are the symptoms of HIV infection? Canker sores are usually caused by biting on your lip or something. I notice I get them when I drink citrusy drinks. They're different from cold sores, which is herpes, and can be an infection that occurs in the mid-to-later stages of HIV infection. If you have only been tested once, go back and get tested again because HIV has a window period. But canker sores, not a big issue that is related to HIV, |

I would hope so..... ...I would say the Doctor is the person who would know the most current info. ...yes it is possible to test negative thats why they say to test again in 6 to 8 months and just act as if you do have it untill then ...It could be both false positive or negative sometimes after exposure it may take time to seroconvert so one can take a repeat test or wait 3 months and do a repeat ...No a CBC does not check for HIV or other diseases... in fact it can come back as normal but yet you could have a big problem such as HIV. The thing is unles you are in the advanced stages of HIV/AI... Newborns are not routinely tested and if the mother is negative, why would her baby be tested? If you're concerned, speak to your child's pediatrician about the advisability of testing... DON'T HAVE SEX UNTIL YOU GET TESTED, OTHER THEN THAT, WAIT AND PRAY ...The only way you could test negative but still be positive is if you are recently exposed to the virus which is why you test once and then have a follow up test in six months.
